Unlock Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) HOMES Rebates for Wisconsin Homeowners
Now is the time to schedule your qualified energy assessment to access up to $8,000 in federal rebates.
Thanks to new guidance from the Wisconsin Public Service Commission, homeowners across Wisconsin can now take advantage of $74.9 million in IRA HOMES rebate funding for energy efficiency upgrades—starting today.
If your home qualifies, you can receive between $2,000 and $8,000 in rebates for energy-saving improvements like insulation, duct sealing, or heat pump upgrades. But don’t wait—these funds are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Who Qualifies for IRA HOMES Rebates?
-
Standard households may receive $2,000 to $4,000 based on modeled energy savings
-
Low- to moderate-income households (earning less than 80% of area median income, approx. $80,000 for a family of four in Milwaukee) may receive $4,000 to $8,000
-
Higher-income households (earning over $100,000–$149,000) may receive slightly reduced rebate amounts
