Pay: Starting hourly rate $17-20 based on experience, with opportunities for advancement. Green Homeowners United, LLC offers a SIMPLE IRA retirement plan after $5,000 in earnings which has a 3% salary match.
Hours/Shift: First Shift, Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm
Duration/Usual Hours Per Week: Full-Time, 30 to 40 Hours Per Week
Minimum Requirements of Employer:
Education: High School Diploma/GED Equivalent Desired
Professional Licenses / Certifications: Strong computer skills and attention to detail
Duties and Responsibilities of the Job:
Submissions Administrative Assistant ("Assistant") is responsible for providing timely and detail-oriented office support to managers, other staff, and customers. Strong attention to detail, customer service, and data entry skills are required. The Assistant will provide excellent customer service, gather documents, review job notes and pictures, complete data entry into electronic forms, send and track forms for signatures, communicate with customers and partners on a regular basis, and maintain orderly records. Additionally, the Assistant will be primarily responsible for gathering customer information, helping customers complete applications for funding opportunities, submitting work for funder approval, and requesting payment. In time, the Assistant will develop experience and expertise in building science topics and connect customers to funding opportunities (training provided).
Place outbound calls to customers and partners, answer phones, complete intakes, and route customer questions, provide customer service and follow up as needed -Understand program processes and be able to explain to customers
Gather customer information and verifications to assist with process of rebate applications
Track customer applications from start to finish, provide timely updates to customers and other staff on progress and issues
Submit customer applications and proposed work for funder approval -Request payment for work completed
Problem solve error and process issues
Assist with coordinating teams and assessors scheduling
Connect with Assessors and Electricians who perform home visits to determine the feasibility of different energy efficiency improvements
Work with GHU team to help determine customer eligibility for grant and/or program funding for improvements
Organize and keep files and data up to date and accurately stored -Meet deadlines and clearly communicate with managers and third-party partners

Maintain all equipment provided as required for proper usage, storage and protection -Commit to continuing education for energy efficiency expertise
Meet deadlines and track all customers through the process
Help Green Homeowners United improve systems and find efficiencies -Reliability and timely attendance are required. The office is on several bus routes. A personal vehicle is appreciated but not required.
Excellent computer skills with standard programs and ability to learn new programs and software with training
Critical thinking, interest in problem solving

Ability to meet deadlines
Communicate effectively and professionally with the team and customers -Comfort speaking on the phone and in person with customers, co-workers and partners
