This groundbreaking program helps City of La Crosse residents access up to $25,000 in federal funding for critical upgrades like insulation, air sealing, and heat pumps making homes more efficient, comfortable, and affordable to maintain.

Green Homeowners United Expands to La Crosse

Green Homeowners United, a Wisconsin-based energy efficiency expert, has officially expanded into the La Crosse area! While we’ve primarily served the Milwaukee region, we’re thrilled to now expand our mission, and our services, to Western Wisconsin.

We’ve also welcomed two local energy assessors to our team, ensuring La Crosse homeowners get personalized, expert support in identifying and implementing cost-saving home improvements

On March 18, 2025, the City of La Crosse and Green Homeowners United launched this groundbreaking program during a press event at 1507 Weston Street.

Mayor Mitch Reynolds, Kevin Kane (Chief Economist of Green Homeowners United), and community members including Rebecca Schwarz, a homeowner already benefiting from the program, spoke about the impact of energy efficiency.
